Oscar Humberto Gómez(he/him/él) has called San Diego County home for the past 10 years, after moving from Ventura County. Originally born in Mexico City, Oscar brings both cultural richness and compassion to his work. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University and has dedicated his career to supporting others through challenging circumstances.

Oscar has worked with youth on probation, victims of crime, individuals in crisis, and people experiencing homelessness. His experience also includes creating new programs and developing emergency procedures to ensure safety and care in critical situations.

Driven by a deep commitment to helping others, Oscar plans to continue his education and pursue a master’s in social work in the near future.

When he’s not working, you’ll often find Oscar near the ocean, cooking, or discovering new foods around town. Fun facts: he was a vegetarian for 16 years and loves to tell dad jokes.
