The LGBTQ Resource Center, with the collaboration of Lifeline San Diego, is working to prevent and fight the exploitation of individuals through labor, sex, and commerce. Human trafficking is a real threat in our county and, according to federal data, San Diego has the highest numbers of trafficking in the nation.
LGBTQ youth and populations are at a considerably higher risk for exploitation and commerce, and this is why we joined in partnership with other county agencies to ensure that the people we serve can be protected.
