Jose was born in Oceanside but has resided in Encinitas for as long as he has been alive. He is dedicated to serving and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community in any way possible. As a staunch advocate, he strives to create safe spaces where everyone feels valued, supported and above all, seen.

Having a background in HIV Prevention, he understands the importance of health and providing vital resources to empower individuals. He was honored to have been nominated for the prestigious Dr. A. Brad Truax Award, recognizing his commitment to advocacy and community service.

Additionally, he holds certification in HIV testing and counseling (BSCT certified), Basic Life Support (BLS certified) ensuring he provides comprehensive support and care.

He believes in building a more inclusive and compassionate world. He loves to connect and make a difference collectively.
