Elizabeth Ramirez (she/her/ella) is the MAT Program Manager at the North County LGBTQ+ Resource Center, where she leads initiatives to expand access to recovery support, resource navigation, and trauma-informed care for North County’s LGBTQ+ community. She oversees outreach, education, and referral activities designed to reduce barriers to treatment and promote equity through compassionate, evidence-based approaches.

Before joining the Center, Elizabeth worked in research and program development at the Education Development Center and NORC at the University of Chicago, managing complex public health and education projects with partners such as USAID, NIH, and community-based organizations. Her experience spans program evaluation, data analysis, and proposal development focused on advancing health equity and community well-being.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland School of Public Health. She is fluent in Spanish and passionate about building inclusive health systems that honor the diversity of lived experiences.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys learning new languages, going to concerts, hiking and camping, and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines.
