Adriana Zamora (they/them) is a proud queer-trans lesbian from Oceanside, CA. Growing up Adriana witnessed first-hand how institutions are designed to keep the masses from receiving holistic care. As a result, they have dedicated both their personal life and professional career toward community care and service work with an intersectional lens and the goal of collective liberation for all working-class people.

They are a San Diego State University alum, with a B.A. in Sociology and a Minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. While in undergrad, their involvement with the Women’s Resource Center, the WGSS department, and peers fostered their passion towards serving their community through education, organizing, and care.

They dedicate their free time to community organizing and global solidarity through various organizations. Their weekends also consist of volunteering with the Mat-Ichech Compost Collective at the Centro Cultural de La Raza.

They love spending time with friends playing Overcooked, reading, crafting, and are dedicated to trying every single matcha drink they come across to find the best one.

They honor their father Cecilio whose love and care for the unhoused community in Oceanside rooted their passion for service.
