MFT Trainee
Hello! My name is Jesah Ferrari (she/her).
I am a Japanese American and Native American therapist-in-training who proudly identifies as demiromantic and pansexual. I live in North County San Diego with my wife and our two beautiful children.
I hold a Master of Science in Positive Psychology and believe that meaningful change happens through affirming care, self-acceptance, emotional growth, and reclaiming personal power. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to explore who they are and who they want to become.
My therapeutic approach draws from Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology. I work collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, build resilience, improve relationships, understand relational patterns, and develop meaningful goals that support lasting growth and positive change.
I have a special passion for working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, affirming care that honors each person’s story while supporting healing, empowerment, safety, and renewed connection with themselves and others.
Whether you are navigating identity exploration, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, life transitions, anxiety, depression, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I believe you already possess many of the strengths needed for change. My role is to help you recognize those strengths and use them to create the life you deserve.
I look forward to being part of your journey!
