The Binder Program is a program of the North County LGBTQ Resource Center. The goal is to provide a chest binder for non-binary youth who cannot otherwise get one, due to financial or other restraints.
Safe binding practices and other helpful information is provided to recipients. Occasionally, depending upon budget limitations, we have been able to provide other gender-related items.

Did you know that LGBTQI+ youth make up 20 to 40% of the homeless youth population? At the North County LGBTQI+ Resource Center we created Unicorn Homes, a network of affirming, loving host homes to provide safe shelter while we work to reunite youth with their families or other needed services.

We aim to provide more such care next year.We work in human trafficking prevention, helping numerous victims, along with providing education and creating awareness.
