The Light for Life Foundation of San Diego was established in 1997 as a regional chapter of the Light for Life Foundation International. In April 2000, we expanded to become the Light for Life Foundation of Southern California. Our purpose is to save lives through the prevention of youth suicide, the fastest growing killer of youth in America today, with awareness and outreach and the promotion of the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program.
